Yin is associated with what is natural, receptive, soft, fluid, nurturing, and ever-changing-while Yang relates to what is built, assertive, structured, defined, and permanent. But unlike Yin and Yang as equal opposites, we believe one truth remains- Landscape does not need architecture. Architecture needs landscape. Nature exists complete in itself. It is architecture that seeks belonging, softness, scale, and soul through landscape.
